Advanced Classes at Positive Pets Dog Training
Advanced classes are open only to clients who have graduated from select Private Lesson or Transformation Academy training programs
Distraction Class
This class will serve as a transitional step for clients who have just completed their Private Lesson or Transformation training programs. The class will help build confidence in implementing the Positive Pets methods.
When: Tuesdays – 6 pm @ Boise
When: Thursdays – 7 pm @ Boise
When: Saturdays – 11 am @ Boise
*Clients should attend 6-8 intro classes before moving on to the advanced class.*
Distraction Class
This class will serve as a pre-requisite to the Advanced Off-Leash Class and other specialty classes.

Advanced Off-Leash Class
Teaches your dog how to respond positively in real-life situations while off leash. Builds on skills learned in the Distraction class.
When: Tuesdays – 7 pm @ Boise

When: Saturday – 10 am – @ Boise

Public Access

If your dog is ready to start going into public areas after taking the Service or Therapy dog class; this class is for you. We will be going into stores, restaurants, parks and different venues using the information you learned in the Service or Therapy Dog class in a practical setting.
Nosework (Novice)
Tuesday, February 24th, 5pm-6pm, & 6pm-7pm @ MERIDIAN
If your dog’s nose knows, then this is the class for you. Learn how to get your dog to detect a scent and develop a response that will let you know they have found it. We will show you how to set up your training area and the most commonly used scents.
Tricks 101
Friday, April 3rd at 6:00pm @ BOISE
Don’t underestimate the power of education! Engage your dog’s mind by teaching them different dog tricks. We will teach you how to lure and communicate with your dog to do a plethora of different behaviors. You can even earn an AKC Trick Dog Title or two! Rally (Novice)
Tuesday, April 7th at 6:00pm @ MERIDIAN
Enjoy learning with your dog how to navigate an obedience obstacle course. Rally is an AKC dog sport that teaches how to use your obedience to a higher level. Learn the different signs and rules to set up a mentally stimulating game for you and your dog.
